We have extensive subject-matter knowledge of the federal Petroleum Marketing Practices Act, the Puerto Rico Gasoline Law, applicable trade regulations, antitrust laws, and their respective regulatory frameworks.
We develop and implement effective business litigation strategies across a range of forums, including federal, bankruptcy, and state courts, as well as arbitration panels. Recognizing the financial impact of litigation, we collaborate closely with clients to prioritize and achieve their business objectives.
With extensive experience as in-house and external counsel to private equity and hedge funds, we understand the legal intricacies of private funds. We provide experienced guidance on corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, investor relations, and fund litigation.
We are developing a consumer bankruptcy practice area for DC and PR residents. We're partnering with experienced attorneys to give clients a fresh start through bankruptcy. A bankruptcy may be advisable when you seek to manage or discharge certain debts, protect property from execution by certain creditors, prevent the garnishment of wages and other income, and stop repossessions, garnishments or attachments, utility shutoffs, foreclosures, evictions, or other collection efforts.
