Yes, we can represent franchisees in Washington, D.C. in all franchise-related matters. We can also advice nationwide dealers with questions exclusively regarding their federal rights under the Petroleum Marketing Practices Act (PMPA). However, we do not represent franchisees in Puerto Rico, where our practice is currently dedicated exclusively to franchisors. 

We are licensed to practice in Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico. We handle litigation and regulatory matters across these jurisdictions, offering strategic legal solutions to businesses operating in these regions. We are not currently licensed in Virginia, but offer services remotely out of Virginia as a foreign attorney under LEO 1896 (Jan 11, 2022).

Yes, we incorporate attorney-supervised AI to enhance efficiency and provide high-quality legal services. We use AI for legal research, initial drafting, and task management. Additionally, we are adopting AI for some client communications and scheduling. We comply with Formal Opinion 512 of July 29, 2024, issued by the American Bar Association on the use of generative AI tools.

We are confident in our abilities and our experience. Because of it, we offer flexible and dynamic billing arrangements tailored to our clients’ needs. Whenever possible, we offer flat fees to promote cost predictability. For more complex, litigation, or ongoing legal work, we may employ hybrid fees, where certain tasks are billed at a flat rate while the rest are billed by the hour. In select matters, we can offer a straight contingency arrangements.
